Great way to start off Thanksgiving day for the DHP. We were able to help a Veteran(family) in need this morning. This family's son(vet), was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. The cancer can only be treated in 5 hospitals in the US. The treatment is six weeks long and comes with a lot of cost to the family. We, the DHP, stepped in and provided funds for the family, to cover hotel cost during those six weeks.
